The students learn that the catapult was an ancient war machine from ancient times until the Middle Ages.
Then, they are asked to describe it (as shown in the pictures) and try to explain its function.

Even if they don’t explain how it might work, it’s enough to wonder.

The teacher follows the steps and makes their construction alongside the students.

The students work independently. If students need help, the teacher provides it.

Finally, use playdough to test the launch.

Place a plastic glass in the middle while 3-4 students sit around it.
