World of snakes

Description

The students are introduced to biology concepts and learn about the world of snakes. Then, learn about their unique characteristics and identify their differences from other reptiles. Finally, students create colourful dancing snakes.

Steps

The students are requested to describe a snake. Then, they identify the snake's characteristics compared to other animals they know.

By observing the snake’s movement, the students learn that it belongs to the category of animals that crawl (reptiles).

The students compare two reptiles, a lizard and a snake. They then identify the similarities and differences between them. Finally, they present other information about the variety of snakes' colours and the poison they secrete.

Create your spiral construction using the collage technique.

After you have finished your creation, students can play with the colourful dancing snakes by watching the spiralling movement.
